Safety Net Adoptable Dogs and P4P Adoptable Dogs: What's the Difference?
You will notice under this tab we have both P4P Adoptable Dogs and Safety Net Adoptable Dogs. All of these dogs are available for adoption, but they are completely different in context.
Our P4P Adoptable Dogs are dogs that we have previously rescued, whether it be from a shelter or owner surrender and found a foster home for them to live comfortably in until they find their forever home. Our adoptable dogs are our responsibility. When someone is interested in our adoptable dogs, we require a completed application by the potential adopter and complete a home visit and trial run before any adoption is finalized. If any of our adoptable dogs appear to be a match for your family, please let us know. We would be happy to tell you more about each dog and set up a time for you to meet them.
The pups listed as Safety Net Adoptable Dogs are looking for their new, forever home; however, are not officially a Promise 4 Paws dog. Since our commitment is now to senior dogs at the sanctuary, this is our way of helping needing dogs and families find loving homes as an alternative to placing their dog in a shelter. All of these dogs currently live with their families. Their current owners are responsible for finding them homes, we just help them by spreading the word. If you have any questions about one of the dogs on this page or see a potential dog that seems like a match for your family, please contact us and we will connect you with the dog's family.
